These are vintage Buddhist prayer scrolls that are metal then rolled and secured with twine, then a deep lacquer applied.  Small brass/copper prayer scroll known as a Takrut in Buddhism. A Takrut is a roll Talisman sheet with sacred mantras and symbols on it.

Each band has been blessed by a Thai Buddhist monk for Protection, Health, Prosperity, and Peace.
